My collaborative practice brings together painting, playful experimentation and public art, working with children, young people and communities to creatively transform shared spaces.
Through workshops, consultation and co-design, I create opportunities for people to explore materials, express their ideas and actively contribute to the development of artworks. I'm particularly interested in encouraging creative freedom and building confidence, giving people a genuine voice in shaping the spaces around them.
I believe public art can do more than visually transform a place. When people are involved in the creative process, it can encourage connection, build a sense of ownership and create environments that feel more welcoming, engaging and meaningful to the communities who use them.
I have led and co-produced a wide range of public art projects across the Isle of Wight, from large-scale murals and installations to creative interventions within hospitals, youth spaces and other public environments. Each project develops through the people involved, their ideas and experiences, and the particular character of the place itself.
